Commercial Photography (Jewelry)

We wanted to share a photograph that came together rather nicely.
Jewelry can be rather difficult to shoot. We find that it is best to start basic and then build up from that point. (much like anything else)
The end photograph appears simple, but the set was built up around the Ring in the shot with reflectors and other little tricks that help out.
The main light was a Shoot through umbrella
Camera: Mamiya RZ67 IID with the leaf aptus 65 digital back.   Lens:  110mm f2.8  Aperture f11 shutter 1/400.
